Named after its "long-lasting" quality, the Nagamochi sponge lives up to its name. While the manufacturer claims it lasts about 6 months, we've seen some folks stretch its lifespan much further—myself truly included! The magic lies in its special, top-quality polyurethane material.

There's more. This sponge isn't just durable; it's a champ at both sudsing up and draining water, which is seriously impressive. Plus, its density ensures a perfect lather every time. Thanks to the "membrane-removing" structure developed by the manufacturer, this sponge stays fresh and clean, free from any unpleasant odors or germs.

It comes in a compressed package with a thickness of just 0.28 inches. Once taken out of the bag, it quickly expands to the size of your palm.

We compared the regular and soft versions. While the soft ones do feel a tad softer, there's not too much of a difference, in our humble opinion.
